Dallas has a clear line between bad and good areas unlike Houston. It also has more established nice areas near the center of town so they aren't in transition as much as Houston's. I'm from Houston and am biased so I obviously prefer Houston but Dallas is really nice.

Houston has some great qualities

If you are a non-hunter/fisher, Dallas all day. If you like to hunt or fish, then H-town wins in a landslide. The salt water is closer, access to great freshwater fishing is as good or better, better deer hunting access to South TX and deep East TX, and way better duck hunting access much closer than DFW. Plus, you can live in a multitude of areas where you never see the sketchy parts of Houston.

As for LSU fans, it's a straight shot on 10 to BR.

I was referring to parts of Houston like Midtown, where it's like warehouses and industrial

Midtown? I know there are warehouses but midtown as an industrial area? Maybe you've gone to some of the places around there i haven't yet lol. Midtown and Montrose area are nice. Damn near a condo on every block ranging from $1500+ to $3000+/month

That's not much of a benchmark to use.

I live in Fort Worth and love it except for all the road construction.

I found the Las Colinas area to be rather insipid when I lived there. You're close to DFW which is good when you have an urge to get on a flight and escape from the monotonous way of living there.

Of the suburbs mentioned, Memorial area of Houston blows out all others in Dallas and Hoiston.

Great schools
Jobs in every direction
Not far from downtown/galleria/inner loop

Dallas.

It's unbelievable how many people here actually care about what they look like. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I saw a true fatass walking around. I saw about 1,000 of them when I saw Jason Isbell in Houston a few weeks ago.

I have lived in both Monroe and Houston. Jackson is a big Monroe.

if anything Dallas is more like Monroe with their stray dog problems

A lot of the people in favor of Dallas are saying it's because of the women, but my question is when did Houston stop having hot girls? I like Dallas's downtown more than Houston's. Can't walk a block in Houston downtown without a drooling bum badgering you.

You live in Arizona. You shouldn't be anywhere near a thread about Texas.

How am I biased? I didn't attend TCU, I'm not biased.
