Any out there with better razors. I have been a member of the Dollar Shave Club for over a year, but I find their razors cheap and flimsy. Is there another subscription service that provides a higher quality razor similar to those you can buy from Gillette?

I've bought tons of cartridges from eBay. Some have "please contact this number if you got these anywhere but walgreens" on them but they were a good deal cheaper lol

I did dollar shave club, Harry's, and bought a pack of the most expensive Gillette and Schick razors and did an experiment a few months ago.

DSC was awful, Schick was awful.

I got the amazon button for Gillette razors. They are good razors and cheaper on Amazon.

I think Harry's were the best blades of the 4, and I loved the shave gel.

Its personal preference, but everyone I know that uses Harry's razors loves them

I bought a safety razor kit from Wal-Mart to see if I liked them (I did). Then I went on Amazon and bought a Badger Hair Brush, some Taylor of Old Bond Street Shave Cream and some Astra Razors I'm into with all of that for about $50-$55. I shouldn't have to replace the brush or razor for a long time. The blades and shaving cream should last a year or so. So next year I'll have to pay $24 to shave all year. I'm pretty sure that's cheaper than the dollar shave club?

Only thing I would do different is buy a razor with a longer handle.

Go to Sams or Costco, you can buy one with refills that will last 10 years for $10.

i've taked to a couple people who wrnt with the one razor service and a different guy went with another.

Neither were happy said blades are garbage, and went back to their old razors and the expensive blades.

Yep. OP may lose a few bucks experimenting but when you find the blade your face likes, that's it.

DSC were too harsh.

I use a Schick Hydro when I want to be quick. They are cheaper than Fusion by a bit. They also can last forever. Look up "stropping a cartridge blade on blue jeans". It works.
