i have noticed this a lot more the last few years, especially with cashiers. there is very little professionalism. they often crack jokes, use very informal language, etc. who do they think they are?

trader joe's is pretty bad about this. stfu and bag my groceries.

That's kind of in their job description, make you feel comfortable so you want to come back instead of going somewhere where there's no interaction.

Trader Joe's... They probably assume you're going for a casual experience.

Trader Joe's people are great.

Don't shop there if it triggers you

People complain about the dumbest stuff. I like shopping at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods even though it's more expensive bc the workers are actually helpful and generally give a shite.

Because that's how you get good tips if you aren't in fine dining.

Makes you realize that some people have literally never had to face adversity before.

It bothers me when they say " you're welcome" after I say "Thank You". They should be thanking me too.

Conversely, this cashier is probably on Facebook right now posting about the miserable fricks he has to deal with.
