Just listened to Episode 1 and I am intrigued to say the least... Any of yall listened to this? Does it get even better?

Don't expect a huge twist ending or anything (I mean, we know how it ends) but it's very good

Almost everyone loves those podcasts. I'm in the minority that doesn't care for them.
No interest in listening to 10 (15?)hrs of some ghetto high schooler that MIGHT have killed his ghetto high school ex-girlfriend.

Anyone listen to the follow-up podcast started by the Freedom Project? I listened to the first episode and that's all. Is it worth checking out the rest?
I found it almost overwhelming in how legally technical it was.

It's interesting. But it doesn't strike me as terribly different from most criminal trials. Not sure the prosecution got the "story" correct but I'm pretty confident that Adnan killed her. The real question is whether Jay helped kill her and walked by rolling on Adnan.

They were all "good kids" according to National Public Radio bias.

I know a lot of people who think Adnan did it. I don't know anyone, however, who thinks the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. Thus he shouldn't be guilty regardless of what you think.
That's what I found so interesting.

Of course he killed her. But Jay? Accessory to murder and accessory after that fact and gets nothing?

quote:The story is clearly incorrect. Although biased towards Adnan, the new Undisclosed podcast really shows how poor the investigation was. They inexplicably lost Hae's computer and the whiskey bottle that was next to her body (which potentially had DNA). Jen admitted to telling a couple about Hae's murder on multiple occasions, yet they were never interviewed. Urick seemed like an outright corrupt DA.

But what's the police's motive for screwing it up? I guess Jay could have been a valuable CI and they wanted to minimize his role while simultaneously solving the case. I don't know.
But Adnan killed her. I have zero doubt in my mind. Exactly how and where and whether someone helped him is the only thing I have questions about.
