There really is nothing between St Louis and Chicago. And Memphis is not worth stopping.

Her mom's real easy-going so it won't be a huge issue. Just means there's a zero percent chance I get laid

Beginning of Thread: Flying to Chicago with the SO, really looking forward to a nice trip!

Middle of Thread: Driving to Chicago with the SO, is there anything that will make the drive less shitty?

End of Thread: Stuck in a car for 20 hours each way with my SO and her mother. How do I get out of this?

Stop by Springfield, IL and see Abraham Lincoln stuff it's really interesting. Also my grandmother is from Litchfield IL(which is on your way right between St Louis and Springfield) and every Saturday night during the summer they show a movie at the drive in theater which you never see anymore. Small town America.
