When I was 17 I saw something similar. Waiting in line to buy tickets to a movie I saw a few urbanites exit the theater. As they approached the curb a car load full of other urbanites rolled up on them. I just happened to be looking in that direction. A handgun came out the window and shot several times hitting one guy in the foot and another in the stomach. There was a pretty big crowd and we all scattered different directions. Found out in the paper the next day the guy that got shot in the stomach died.

It never really bothered me. It was obviously some kind of gang bang bs. Thugs gonna thug. But if a 5 year old daughter had been there I might think differently.

IMO, the fact that you and your sister were with someone, holding his hand, while he took his last breath, was more important than getting a tag # that's probably bogus anyway. I can't imaging being completely alone after being shot and likely knowing you're done. Having someone, even a complete stranger, simply there to hold your hand and tell you that you're not alone is big.

I'didnt read the whole thread but this is very important , did the shooters get a look at you or your sister ........and if they get caught and you have to testify start packing heat ..... or gtfo

Remember they can't make you testify , and this may sound shitty but the guy they shot was probably a pos ....
Not worth you losing your life over .... Btw I'm glad the kid didn't get hurt , physically anyway ......

I disagree...I think the first thing on their mind was to GTFO of the area....they probably knew people would see but know that folks usually don't talk, so I don't think they were worried about who might have seen it go down.
