I've seen it happening in clothing stores and have just found a clerk to alert them to it. Stand back and watch the action. People think it's a victimless crime, not realizing that prices increase because of it. So a stolen sweater today means I pay $2 more for a sweater in a year.

When I was in school I worked part time at a store and caught a middle eastern woman trying to steal. She knew I had seen her and she put the stuff down and quickly walked out of the store. Just for fun I followed her to act like I was going out to get buggies.

She hopped into a van with like 10 people and they hauled arse out of the lot.
