You can't get family to keep him during the week?

Buddy of mine pays a girl to come to his apartment to take his dog out for an hour a day....

Yep, just not at the bedside. I'll be working in Infection Control.
Flboo and td....he will be fine. He is used to being crated anyways whenever we are not home or sleeping.

I have a 1 year old golden someone is always home with her. My schedule is opposite of the gf but when I work days my oldest son is usually there to let her out if we both are at work.

Mine sit at home when I'm at work so they're inside for 8-9 hours at a time. I usually only have to deal with an "accident" once a week which isn't bad.

That seems way too long.
Of course, I'm used to active dogs. Pugs are basically door stops.

Sitting in a hospital room waiting on my niece to be born. 16hr labor so far. Baby and mom are doing great considering.

Damn 16 hours seems like a long time

Yeah. Water broke a little early (2weeks) and there weren't any contractions so they induced. It's a long process but she's about 9cm. Should be another hour or two

Well nurse said she has already had him crate trained. My Gf had her last golden crate trained wasn't to bad because that's how she raised her. Fed her let her out put her in the crate then when gf got home she let her out no accidents in crate so I guess it was just the normal routine.

Yeah mine are trained, you have to expect accidents though since sometimes those bowel movements just come

16 hours seems excessive.
Unless you have a pug family?

Have you been there the entire 16 hours? I wouldn't be sitting at a hospital that long for a niece. I may be a shitty brother though.

Yeah, I'm just used to very high energy dogs. My pointer is bouncing off the walls if he doesn't get at least 2 miles worth of running a day. He's very well trained, but I'm pretty sure he does coke when I'm not looking.

Thanks
First grandchild for my wife's side of the family. It's a girl so it should take the pressure off my wife and I.
