Since there are gonna be a ton of flooded vehicles up for salvage. Is it worth considering ?

I'm surely looking for a cheap airstream trailer to salvage after these floods

Yes.
No.
The flippers and title-washers will get them soon enough.
Insurance companies know that these vehicles will be sold and resold with "clean" titles out of state, but they give 0 fricks.

If insurance pays out on any car that is flooded during this national disaster they will be auctioned off as parts only cars. They can't be bought back by the insurer. only way would be if someone did not have insurance on the car or no full coverage then you can by it and fix it.
Same goes for ATVS travel trailers.

They may be auctioned that way (wink, wink), but many get resold, eventually, as drive-able, insurable, vehicles.

My cousin got one like that, back in the late 80s. Bought it from a Ford dealership in central Florida. A few months later, bubbles started popping up on the body panels. Within a year, there were holes in the floorboard. Turns out, the thing had been under salt water in Corpus Christi, or some such.
She got a lawyer and got her money back and then some, but it was a pain in the arse.

Some states may retitle them but I do know from this past flood none of our insured could by them back they had to go to coparts to the auction.

Lots of them will go straight to Mexico as well.

Oh I agree, they go to auction.
Decent units are cleaned up and resold.
Happens all the time...
The insurance company could easily prevent this, but fro obvious reasons, they don't want to.
