Anyone tried to watch a game on the new beast build of kodi on a firebox? I just updated from TVMC to the Beast and the live tv works pretty well, but I still have cable so don't really use it.

I rarely have issues streaming on my Roku 3. It's likely your internet speeds and Internet hardware causing issues.

This. Lol

I subscribe to sling for when I'm not near a TV on gameday. The video on mine Saturday wad perfect. Audio lagged up to 2 minutes. Had to turn the volume off and turn on the radio.

Sling is notoriously bad for live sports.

The only problem I've run across with sports is that on the MLB TV app, sometimes when I'm watching in full screen mode on my iPad it will display a header at the top of the screen that will give the score and say "B 3RD" before the actual feed gets to the bottom of the third. Other than that, my experience has been aces.

The game delay for Sling was about 5 minutes.

This, of all things, is worth about $500-$600 a year?

I've noticed that WatchESPN streams better on my phone than my Amazon Fire Stick. It can sometimes be a five minute delay for me as well.

It sucks, but you know what I do with that $840 a year? First, I take a twenty, wipe my arse with it, then mail it to DirecTV. Then I use the leftover $820 to go to the beach.
