Running boards are ugly fwiw. If you really need them and have a lift then get the hide away ones that fold out when you open the door.

I'm bought a pair of Westin's black ones for my Tacoma last night. Same reason as you. So that my mom and gf can get into the truck. I told the gf I wasn't getting any until she bugged me enough. She eventually complained every time she got in the truck. Plus my mom is coming to visit me soon and I can't imagine her getting into my truck at her age.
