Who has been to one of these shows? Is it all Christmas songs or does he play a lot of his normal stuff as well? Considering going in Atlanta tonight but trying to figure out what to expect?

I saw him last year in BR (or maybe two years ago). He did a private show but it was part of his xmas tour. it was really good. He plays a little of everything.

It's strange. He played a lot of my favorites at the show, but they also do covers. Like each member of the band takes turns playing a legendary artist, then the band will play one of his songs.

Example: Rich Brotherton plays Hank Williams, and they'll play "I'm So Lonesome, I Could Cry".

At least that's what it was like when I went in Dallas a couple of years ago. Very different than any other REK show I've been to.

We are going to the Sunday show in Chattanooga. Some friends went in Nola some time back and said it was awesome, so the wife and I decided to check it out.

My brother is opening for him on this tour. But its a lot of Christmas songs and REK lets his band to a lot of their own songs. I get in free but I'm skipping it.

That’s awesome. Sorry, got a little excited- didn’t mean to publicly out anyone on here.

Im a big fan & think he’s immensely talented as a musician and a bandleader. Catch Shinyribs every time I get a chance.
