Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin, who was the other half of Rob Dyrdek's hit MTV show "Rob & Big" -- has died ... TMZ has learned.
His rep tells us Chris died Tuesday morning. No word on cause of death yet.

I thought they were on good terms. Big Black left the show to go home to Mississippi and raise his daughter. He had plenty of money and chose the family commitment.
He did return to a few shows and did some cameos.
