A spring is twisted but straight
The force can be weak or great
It can be a silly toy
A spring works under pressure,
When the pressure is removed it’s just sort of floppy
Can be used to kill.
Or just something silly
ETA: it’s not rope because rope works under tension, not pressure as CarRamrod said.
