Retired ULL professor, amateur actor dies at community theatre performance

LINK Sad, but he went out doing what he loved, and there's something to be said for that.

Cite des Arts say that emergency responders were called and arrived, but attempts to resuscitate were unsuccessful. They report that he had been ill last weekend, but felt ready to return to stage this weekend.
The performance of The Odd Couple scheduled for Sunday August 22nd is canceled. Performances will resume next weekend. Further information and plans for services will be relayed as soon as they are available.
