Lift on the knot and cut only one side of the loop so you don't leave any behind.

Just pour some highly concentrated sulfuric acid on it. It will dissolve the stitches and leave your skin unscathed

DO NOT cut the stitches with dirty scissors or nail clippers. When pulled out the stitches will leave bacteria in the wound if you do use dirty instruments.

I got hit by a car. Broke my jaw, road rash all over the face, broke several teeth, thought I broke my neck for a little while. I had a cut on my upper lip, right where the "lip skin" starts. The most painful part of the entire ordeal was getting those stitches removed. That skin was just sensitive. I teared up while getting them pulled it stung so bad.
