Refugees. What's the difference between Syria and Katrina Refugees?

I remember back during Katrina that the media was calling Katrina victims Referees. Are we really comparing people fleeing from a war torn country to people fleeing to the Superdome from a Hurricane????

Never heard them called referees. But if your phone autocorrects that to referees, you're probably an LSU fan.

Why? The Government and Media is calling Refugees coming here the same as Hurricane Katrina Refugees. It's sickening.
