Refrigerator experts: Smells like shite

Our refrigerator/freezer has smelled like arse for the last month. Our roommate would put fish, crawfish, and other seafood in the fridge and freezer. It smells like nasty old seafood. One of my friends thinks it is a dead rat. Last week we turned off the whole refrigerator and let it thaw. Then, we completely cleaned the whole thing and it still smells like shite. Any tips and how to make this stupid thing smell better?

*seriously you probably got seafood juice in places that will be hard to get clean...try bleach though...or look on craigslist for another.

Use baking soda. When you're done making a volcano with vinegar, get rid of the fridge

After cleaning it give it time to air out, and even leave some fresh coffee grounds (in a filter or something, don't just toss the grounds in) for at least an hour
If it still strongly smells like shite you've got an internal problem and should probably start shopping for new fridges.

take off the back panel in the freezer and clean that. If you don't clean the coils it will always smell like shite.

Thank you. I will try that when I get home. It has a water dispenser and ice dispenser but neither one of them work. We have water hooked up to the back of the fridge yet nothing happens.

Spray the shite out of it with lavender scented bleach then scrub it. When you are done, hose it out.
