Needing a window a/c unit for a 350sqft enclosed garage. This room can easily hit 90+ degrees in the summer.

I was reading reviews on LG. Seeems like they break a lot.

Should I do 12-15K BTU?

If it's decently insulated, 10,000 should work. I've got a small LG that we've been using for 8+ years and it's still going strong. Not recommending then based on that, just mine has lasted.

If your garage door is not insulated, purchase some double foam reflective insulation, cut it to fit and spray expandable foam in the gussets to hold in place. I did this with mine and it made a big difference

Just get whatever they have at Walmart. Return it every 29 days and tell them it doesn't work.

Had some old roommates that did that for a year straight with TVs.

Profit.

Rule of thumb for a/c sizing is one ton (12,000 BTU) per 500 sq. ft of living area. Thats assuming its insulated. Get the 12.
