Went to Havana in November- Cuba is legit.
You don't need permission to go anymore- lots of good articles come up on Google. You do have some rules to follow though.
Getting there is a pain in the arse.

Been considering many of these places but might go skiing instead. Haven't been in several years and early March isn't a bad time to go. Just need to find a good deal.
