I am debating. I have a fake tree that is a few years old. Going to get a new one already pre-lit. Then I was thinking maybe a live tree. Which will you have?

if you don't go to the woods and cut down your own christmas tree, the terrorist win.

then throw it in the nearest body of water when done.

Real men cut down their trees, or their neighbors tree.

I get a real tree every year based on the rest of the family's preference, but would prefer a realistic artificial for it's symmetry and ability to hold the ornaments without drooping.

My wife is delivering on Dec. 11, so I am going with the fake tree.

I have a pre-lit fake tree that looks/smells real with a few pinecones, and my life is happier for it.

I'm thinking about a retro aluminum tree.

I love the 50s atomic punk theme.

I've been trying to talk my wife into going this route for years, but she insists on the real tree. Pick your battles.
