Truthfully, I didn't want to sell so I quoted high.

Then just tell the person you don't want to sell it and quit fricking around.

you're upset because he accepted full asking... that should teach you to quote higher prices for shite you don't want to get rid of.

That said, if it is yours, and he walked from the deal the first time, tell him you have changed your mind and decided it's not for sale.

If you are ok with that then that is fine because its your choice, I just would never do business based on emotions.

I didn't get the sense this was "business". I thought this was s personal item that someone asked about. I don't see a problem with just saying "Nah, I really didn't want to sell it to begin with. Thanks."

Like someone else said, it's yours. Don't let someone else pressure you into selling something you don't want to sell.

They say "okay I'll pay full asking". Is it okay to walk away because you don't want to deal with them?

The correct response is, "Great, full asking is now ($XX x 120%). I never wanted to sell it. You had your chance. You blew it. Get off my lawn."

Just tell them that since the original offer was made, you've decided you're no longer interested in selling it.

People are a PITA.

It's why I always trade my cars in, except on rare occasions.

Yes, you can walk away. You just can't slap the piss out of them for wasting your damn time.
I know, it doesn't seem fair.
