Who is responsible for the storage/maintenance and repair of the statues if they get damaged during the removal process?
If not taxpayer dollars, who's footing the bill? Nothing is free.

PGT was on the national register of monuments, possibly on private property and possibly privately owned and the current subject of a lawsuit and pending bill, and a controversial subject among voters.
Mitch and the city Council had it removed anyway.
That's literally what fascists and Nazis do.
I hope he goes to prison for a long long time.

Don't get distracted. Focus on what is truly important.
Racism and crime have been significantly reduced in the city of New Orleans.
You can now walk safely in the FQ and 9th ward and no longer have to fear for your safety.
On the downside, the city of New Orleans and UBER are expecting a downturn in number of UBER drivers since more people can freely walk the city.

It doesn't matter. All that does matter is with each statue that comes down all racism and hatred is leaving the city..
