Everything else aside, I gotta wonder what is up with his rapper name. Is it a play on Temptation, Tenacious or what? How is it pronounced with the XXX in front?

quote:
Rapper XXXTentacion is under fire after releasing a disturbing music video featuring a Caucasian boy being lynched on a stage as an African-American boy looks on.
The video “Look At Me!" debuted on Tuesday and features imagery depicting police brutality, violent protests, and the 19-year-old Florida-based rapper placing a white child’s head in a noose on stage in front of a crowded theater and then hoisting him up into the air.
The casting director of the video LaShawnna Stanley told that finding parents who would allow their child to be hanged on stage was a challenge. .“I called a lot of parents. It was a direct booking. No one was okay with their white child getting lynched,” Stanley said.

Nothing will be made of this. It doesn't fit the narrative.

ESPN will probably make him VP of Special Events.

Liberals will cheer or simply look the other way.

Racist devils. They must all be white supremacists like Trump

If he would have done this with a banana peel it would have been lights out for his career

Oh, those parents of white children just don't know how to have fun.

How many times are they going to lynch this poor kid?

I'm surprised YouTube hasn't taken the video down.

"Look At Me!" sounds very original. Breaking new ground here. I'm betting this young man had been oppressed his entire life and has much wisdom to bestow on us.

Who wouldn't let them use their kid? What a wonderful chance at improving race relations

He's an artist expressing his feelings

If you guys take the time to read the lyrics you will understand that the point of the song is that if black people keep trying to make white people apologize for the actions of their ancestors, a new generation of white people will be pissed at black people and then lynchings, etc will happen all over again.
He wants a multicultural society where we all love each other and get along, etc.
The lynching of the white guy is meant to show what is going on now in the media.
Now, my personal views on how that multicultural society may turn out aside, that is what this website always preaches about. And since this is what y'all want so bad, y'all should try to spread this message.
The rapper is hoping black people will listen to his message.
The guy who made it is about 8 races, so it makes sense why that is what he raps about.
I looked though his Wikipedia and he is a delinquent but I have to say he has done a couple of things I approve of. Protecting his buddies from a gay guy that he feared is not a bad thing, and he also critized J. Cole because J. Cole made fun of Kanye for liking Trump, but J. Cole has made songs about Obama.
This XXXtenacion or whatever is pretty cool for a hippity hopper.
All rap music is still shite though.

If Kid Rock wrote a song about racial reconciliation and such but featured a rebel flag and a recreation of some dudes in white sheets lynching a black kid, how much of the conversation would be about the lyrics?

like I said in the PT thread about this, he literally calls the song "Look at Me"
this rapper is known for controversial actions and lyrics
he does this for attention
and what do we do? we give him attention
how many people have heard of this guy before yesterday?

Probably 1 comment, and the rest would be people upset, even though they have no idea what the point of the song is.
Kind of like this thread.
