Kind of a spin-off of the other thread. It's boring at work today, so let's see some crap you got for free at stores. This baby carrier didn't ring up so the cashier at babies r us just tossed it in the bag. Not a bad deal for us. Was around $50.

When I was a cashier at albertson's in high school my friend and I gave away a lot of meat for free when they had big specials. Codes never worked and it was a pain in the arse to take stuff off. In the bags the meat went.

I told the dude at Lowe's I got 11 sheets of tin. He only rang up one of them. $300 of stuff for $80.

Walmart in San Angelo where I bought deer corn from... they kept it outside and no one would walk out with you to verify... so 10 bags of purchased corn may or may not have turned into a pallet.

So 11 sheets would cost $300, but one costs $80? Do you math?

I think the OP was meaning more "what free things have you gotten due to the store screwing up at the register" as opposed to stealing.

Like I said, I had other stuff, too. And I was just rounding the numbers. The sheets of tin were roughly $20 and I got 10 free. That equals $200. So my $300 was prob closer to $280. frick, yall can be difficult sometimes.

When I was a kid in kerrville a gas station kept several pallets of 12 packs of soft drinks outside for a buy 1 get 1 special. It turned into a buy 1 get 5.

This guy I know.... used to go to academy and take the $19.99 price tag off of bullshite rods and put the tag on Falcon Rods and bring them to one of the cashiers "that didn't know the difference" between a falcon rod and a Shakespeare.... that son of a bitch had some of the finest rods money could buy!

Friend of mine (klepto) used to stuff steaks and various other items under his infant in the baby carrier. Said he'd hold the carrier above the alarm sensors and walk out the store.

A microwave & refrigerator from a big box store. They initially charged my card, then refunded it for no reason a month later. I called multiple times to tell them, and each time they insisted they couldn't see the refund. Kept saying they'd investigate & have someone call me back, but nobody ever did. And each time I called, they acted completely baffled. I finally gave up. I can't make them take my money.

It's stuff like this that keeps WalMart having guys with swords in the parking lot.

You slash price too much, WalMart slice you!

I have never seen a gas station do something like that again. What a dumb idea.
