You end up with a lot less nicotine intake you stick with it. I guarantee you he's not hitting that thing like he used to on a whole cigarette.

I don't know...I used to smoke 2-3 cigs a day and figured I'd buy a ecig once instead to try it out. I finished the thing in like a day and looked at the package to see it was like 2 packs of cigs worth of nicotine. It was just so much easier not having to go outside and be able to smoke at my desk, in bed, on the couch watching tv. Also gave me much more of a buzz than cigs.

I figured I'd actually get hooked if I kept going so I just went back to regular cigs until eventually I got tired of them.

I bought an extremely nice one. I wasn't gonna do no bullshite e-cig. It's awesome though. I feel so much better

Cool, I had tried the blu's and they had worked for me. But the damn thing stopped charging after two weeks... I went back to smoking. Then a vap store opened in my area and I started hearing more about the more powerful ones, bought myself a extremely nice one too and have had almost no issues with it. But I do wanna buy another one to have in case I leave this one somewhere and have to wait to get it back.

I quit smoking about 4 years ago before this vaping thing became doable. It seems like it stops you from smoking, but you stay addicted to nicotine? Is that correct?

I bought a book called Quitting smoking the easy way. When the books was over, I have never smoked again. It wasn't even hard and I smoked a pack a day for about 10 years.

You can step down to zero nic juice. You go in stages just like patches. I went from 24mg-18-12-6-3-0

Makes it sooooo easy to quit.

It does, but you can cut your nicotine level down. Which I'm doing. The hard part about quiting smoking for me was the fact I never really wanted to quit other than for health reasons and the smell. I loved the act of doing it, it relaxed me even if I wasn't really craving nicotine... This replaces so many of the habitual acts of smoking it's easy to stop... You see the vap and it's just like smoke, you take the deep long drag the same... It replaces all the other things smokers are addicted to other than just the nicotine.

I quit analogs back in September after 20 years of smoking. I started with 24mgs of nicotine and I'm now down to 6mgs. My energy is way up and my strength gains/workout intensity in the gym have been unreal compared to where they were.

You'll probably cough up some stuff in a month or so. It shouldn't last more than a week. After a couple of months there is also a chance that you'll have bleeding gums when you brush your teeth for a little while due to increased circulation (some people have this, some don't). In that same time frame your food will probably start having an overly salty taste for a while as your sense of taste comes back.

You need to have a variety of flavors because you will get vapor's tongue and your current flavors will eventually lose their taste. The flavor will come back after you've vaped something else for a while.

Good luck OP, I used Chantix and other than dreams had no side effects. Then I realized the times I quit cold turkey I had weird dreams also.

Appreciate it. It's tough but I've already been tested quite a bit. Played golf and drank all day yesterday until 2 am this morning and never smoked. I wanted one so badly last night though. luckily I have a couple buddies doing it and they were up there so it kept my accountability.

Wanted to ask some of you that have quit what to expect in the coming days, weeks, months, etc. I already can breathe, smell, and taste better.

You are going to gain weight and be able to smell MUCH better. I sometimes vape at home or at work but I smoke when I go out and drink, which unfortunately is at least 5 nights a week.

Get yourself a Kanger T3s or two for backups. They are cheap ($7 or so) and the coils from the T3s can be used in the ProTank.

So what all do you need to start vaping and what kind of price are we looking at for initial setup/weekly?

Can someone give me recs on an ecig to buy to try it out? Don't want to break the bank in case I don't like it. An ecig store opened near my house and I was going to go there to check it out.

You should go to an e-cig store and buy the best unit they have, it should be like $100. The cheap units are CRAP! Once you have that you'll only be at like $1-$2 a day and you can puff all you want.
