Questions about hemorrhoids

What do they feel like?
Are they embarrassing?
How do you pop them?
I've never had them, but I am curious as to how one goes about getting them and if they are considered trashy.

mildest form, they just make your sphincter really itchy...
when they get bad, they make your arse hurt like hell and throb all the time...
when severe, the pain can be disabling....to the point, that you can't sit down.
ETA: you get them from straining too much (i.e. constipation, lifting weights, giving birth).

First clean your rear end with 91% alcohol. Very important you do this. Next lay a mirror flat on the ground and stand over it in a squatted position. Final step is to stab the things with a buck knife. If they are hanging like snap beans just cut them off

I think weight lifters and people with IBD get them a lot. Poor diet contributes as well.

I got them from riding pwc's a lot. And I lift weights quite often. They suck and they don't ever go away. You basically gotta use cream and drink Metamucil the rest of your life. The more you wipe, the more irritated they get.

Im pretty sure I got then when I was lifting boxes, etc all day for 2 days after my last move.
It was uncomfortable, but no big deal. Went away after a few days.

You don't ever do this. They will bleed - a lot. There are basically varicose veins of the anus. Some are internal and others are external. Usually the internal ones are less painful but may prolapse out and cause problems. External ones are the ones of classical Preparation H commercials fame.
I've been unfortunate enough to have a thrombosed one that required surgical resection. After the local wore off the pain was excruciating for about a week. The first BM was absolutely terrifying. Good luck to whomever suffers from them, you're going to need it.

If you pay someone to jab you in the a-hole with a needle to deliver a local anesthetic and then slice open the old chocolate starfish, part of the deal had BETTER be good drugs to kill the painshame.
