I know some of y'all hate TAG but spare me the nonsense please. Are there some warranties or certifications that go along with buying from a certain dealer or what? I'm looking at about a $1k difference in price between sites like Joma Shop and obviously directly from TAG or a certified dealer. Prices vary so I'm here to ask why? I've got half a dozen watches now none which are over $350.

Here's the aquaracer I really like.

I've had a tag for years and love it. I bought from amazon to save tax and they are a certified reseller at the time so warranty was good from them. You used to have to watch where you buy from because the warranty wasn't good from non-certified resellers, not sure if that holds true now.

I really debated buying the connected.

I bought my formula one from tag, but it was tax and duty free in St. Maartan.

I personally don't understand the hate for tag. I absolutely love mine.

I've noticed the price difference in the aquaracer is movement. The automatic is much more than the quartz. Have you looked at that?

I think bc Joma shop isn't an authorized Tag retailer, so no warranty. At least I think that's what I read when I researched them a while back...I could be wrong.

My God don't buy a Tag. If you want to go cheap go Seiko.

It will be a Joma warranty and probably not a Tag warranty. But you could ask them if it is. They'll tell you

Why not buy a TAG? I'm going off looks alone. Those new aquaracers are fine imo

Call Jomashop. I've bought a couple of watches from them with no problems. I'd definitely look into an automatic though.

Other than 1 Fossil watch, I've never had to use a warranty on a watch. I own 15.

That's a great looking watch. People who hate on Tag can suck balls.

Some watch manufacturers won't service a watch at all if, even paid service, it was purchased grey market.

OP. Don't listen to these people. It's your money. Buy the watch that speaks to YOU.

I personally would never buy grey market unless it was a really cheap watch to begin with.

Once I get up to $300 or so I want to buy from a real Authorized Dealer

There was a time when I wanted a TAG and I still think they are good watches for the price and the pic in the OP looks nice. I just never got one. Instead I settled for a Rolex and Breitling.

CSB not so impressive because this is the OT and both of those are cheap wanna be OT'ers watches but I own one of each.
