45 here.
Yeah, I feel great, like I'm in my prime, but I look like a guy who "can feel a storm coming on" when his bones hurt.

Early 50s, not yet. Feel great, no aches or pains. Not gray yet. Not many crows feet. Just balder, but no worse than many in their early 30s.

I turned 65 last month. Thee year going from 64 to 65 felt like I aged 10 years. No single year has seen a decline so drastic. The knees, back, hands , legs, etc and their aches and pains. i can feel myself walking so much slower. I can't imagine 75.

I was old probably well before you were born. Aside from balls sagging closer and closer to the floor, not much else has changed. No big deal.

My husband and I still feel young. I will be well in to my 40's this year, but I don't feel that old. Do I have some greys, sure, can I still do a standing layout on balance beam, likely not but I read something once, and it seems to make sense. Time seems to speed up, as you age, because of routine. Children have no yardstick to measure experiences against, thus a summer can seem to last forever. The key to slowing time down, when you are older, is to experience new things, people and places.

Also, not having any children probably helps.

46. Gray facial and side head. Also that odd need not to have my PaPaws eyebrows (long and unruly 50%).

I have the same issue,I don’t look so old in the mirror. But when I see a photo of myself I truly look like an old fart.I avoid photos.

I read anorexic people, even though they’ll be emaciated, they see a fat person in a mirror.

When I saw my bald spot in a security camera while standing in line at Walmart, all downhill after that day.

The mirror has come gradually, it's fine. It's the picture from 20 years ago that is jarring.

Saw a few recent pics of Clint Eastwood and it made me realize that Father Time is undefeated…. This guy has always seemed so robust, like he could drop and give you fifty without breaking a sweat, even in his 80s.. now he is 93 .

.

OTOH i saw William Shatner last night on Real Time w/Bill Maher and , while he also is 93- im not exaggerating when i saw that to look at him and hear him talk, he could EASILY pass for 63.. maybe even younger .. ive generally been a bigger fan of Eastwood my whole life than Shatner , but at 93 id be Shatner any day .

It hasn't happened yet.

I've got the mind of an 18 year old that's trapped in a 65 year old body.

Right about 65 years I thought I started to look like dad when he was about that age. Yep, yep, yep….

My hairline rapidly receded in my 20s, so that was one point of mirror shock. But I look at pics from then and I look very young and not bald compared to 20-30 years later of course.

When I’m my ideal weight and have stubble versus graybeard, I look about the same as a decade ago.

I’ve fluctuated between 165 and 195 over the past 8 years in part due to illness, but around 80% of the time I’m in a very narrow healthy range. Too skinny or conversely bloated makes me look a lot older.
All of that to say…
I got home from a loooong road trip with kids the other night and holy crap I looked like Randy Quaid. Now.

I was bloated, baggy-eyed and haggard. Freaked me out. Two days of sun, sleep, exercise, eating well/(not eating), and I’m almost back to normal. It was crazy to see. We can’t avoid aging, but we absolutely can age well (or “better,” excepting for certain diseases and conditions of course).

I’m 39 and I feel like in the past year I’ve realized how deep my forehead wrinkles are getting. I’ve also got some face freckles that have set in probably from too much sun exposure.
