The subdivision is close to the levee, the kid could reasonably walk across the levee and shoot targets or birds and such and just be walking home.

That would be better. As long as he is not doing it in the neighborhood.

The guy that's all in an uproar about it swears the kid shot, even though he was I his vehicle driving away from the kid. I guess he has the loudest bb gun ever.

Now what if said kid appears to shoot said bb gun?

If he shoots something he is not supposed to, or shoots it somewhere he does not have permission to shoot. Then yes, he should be in trouble.

This, especially if the lots in your subdivision are small and he doesn't have much room to shoot shite in his own yard.

Nope for multiple reasons.

No kids of my own to protect
shite ton of ducks/geese that I wouldnt mind cookin up
Dog stays inside
Be ok with it if he could somehow manage to hit one of the cats in my house without breaking anything

You must live in Cleveland.
The kid was taken care of.

bb gun?

We carried 1300 fps crack barrel pellet guns or .22s with cb caps in em.

How else would we shoot doves and squirrels from the 4 wheeler?

He's probably just hunting cats. I wouldn't worry about it.

I grew up in a subdivision. Our lot was a little bigger than most, and behind the house was cleared, but I even walked around with a .22 with cb caps and shot squirrels in the yard. I think neighbors just assumed it was a bb gun though, because we probably shot 10s of thousands of those around the place when we were younger.

Kids are terrible people. I wouldn't trust any one of them to walk around the neighborhood with a BB gun.

Why not? It's a BB gun.

I live in a new subdivision and my neighbor walked down the street with a bow and arrow the other day and no one cared. Except the cacti he killed

I Was saying that it's reasonable to believe that the kid was walking back from the river where he was shooting stuff completely out of harms way, and could be walking home.

Things have really changed in the past few years. Every boy in my neighborhood had BB and pellet guns. Most of us also had bows. We ran all over creation shooting at everything that moved and no one seemed to give it a second thought.

Also, if you made it through 15 years of childhood as a boy and didn't get shot by a bb gun

you did it wrong.
