Usually I agree, but there is a lot more research showing that when you eat has a huge effect on your metabolic rate, and thus your weight gain/loss.

I started drinking chocolate milk post work out since October and I love it. I've seen gains in strength, size and endurance. Article with some science on why it helps.

Chocolate milk is pretty beneficial. It stacks up well with most protein shakes.
