You started a thread about whether or not you made the right decision in having something delivered to your house because of the catalogs?

It does, but she's not "well," clinically speaking. I'd rather not get into it because it doesn't matter. It's a trait we've learned to live with. She opens mail and throws any piece of clothing not hung up or folded in the house into the laundry. Once it was a suit of mine. (Boring) story for another day. She thinks she's being helpful, or just trolling everyone. I think it's a little of both.

Yes. It was more specifically about the catalog. My decision was part of the backstory.

I get it. My 92 year old grandmother lives with my parents - and she responds to EVERYTHING in the mail. I think she is single-handedly keeping junk mail...and therefor our local Post Office... in business.
Next time order something and have it sent as a gift - I'm pretty sure they don't send catalogs to gift recipients. They also can't send mail to the address on your credit card without permission IIRC.

Same here. I usually pick out a few items I think the wife should order and point them out to her. She then throws the catalog away.
