Question about margins on installing a new roof..

I'm about to be in the market for a new roof. Can someone in the industry tell me what the average profit margin is on a roof? Are they razor thin or do they make a a healthy margin?
I know it will vary wildly, I just want to know if there is an industry norm.

A business, in general, needs to have a 25-30% profit margin to stay in business.

You could easily Google the answer. Hell, if you wanted a legit answer on here you would use the money board. The only purpose of this post was so you could let us all know you're some hotshot real estate investor and get some mad e cred.
