If this is the wrong board for this, please go easy on me. I bought a Fitbit Charge HR for my wife less than one year ago. After charging for over 24 hours the only thing visible on the screen is a thin elongated image similar to the battery icon showing half charged. I have plugged in the Dongle and tried to reboot the device. Fitbit has a message board etc. but figured I would try the OT board first. I also have a Charge HR that is about one year old. IMHO these devices appear to be cheaply made. Suggestions regarding similar devices will be appreciated as well.

have you tried rebooting it? While it is plugged in, hold down the button on the side for a few seconds.

My company gave several of us the charge HR Fitbits as part of their BS fitness initiative. After about 6 months, several people started having problems with them so I sold mine on Ebay while it was still functional.

There is a big section on Ebay for Fitbits under the "not working/for parts" selection. I agree they are cheaply made and don't last long at all.
