thats why im all for buying my kids a house in a safer area and allowing them to have 2 or 3 roomates to help pay the the mortgage. Basically buying a house for free for a few years.

The guy came in demanding the dope and money... however the guys that lived didnt have the dope or money. The perpetrator went to the wrong room number or had faulty information it seems like.

Sounds like the honky's friend was selling drugs. 9 times out of a 10 (made up statistic) that's the cause of a home invasion, or maybe I've just known an unusual amount of drug dealers who'v been robbed.

As golfer said, usually when something like this happens around LSU, it's drug related.

i can get on board with "usually" but lets just not assume. Had a buddy who was a victim of home invasion at lsu. He doesn't do drugs and never has.

Ik the victims personally and it was not drug related. They just were unlucky, the thief targeted the wrong apartment. They woke up from a dead sleep to a thug from down gardere barging in and putting a gun to there heads.

I don't know why dude thinks gates/cameras/security is the ultimate security blanket. Some people got robbed and beaten and bloodied at U-View during the fall, and they have all those security measures.
