They are finding out BRPD isn't going to put up with their shite. Apparently they've all cleared from downtown and it's not even 9:00.

I'm also starting to realize how much talk these people are. They were planning on getting on 110 but never even went to the on ramp when police approached. These people are such bitches. They don't even know why they are angry. The locals have handled themselves much better apparently. That's encouraging.

Airline/Goodwood is silent as well.

We've probably just learned from other's mistakes. I doubt it would have been handled this way if it happened 2 years ago. Props to everyone for that.

Even those crowds are getting smaller by the day.

I'm also confused by the dirty white folks who are protesting. It's the kind of white people who probably have pet reptiles at home.

a couple of days of 95 degrees in the shade with 90% humidity makes all of that seem a bit less necessary.

Compared to Missouri and Baltimore, Louisiana has handled these protest/riots the best.

They realize that they are accomplishing nothing besides being miserable and trying to get on TV.

BRPD broke their will

This is probably partially true, but I also think that our region is uniquely prepared for this. They deal with parades and other gatherings pretty frequently. And both our police and population know what's expected from each other and how they can interact.

Also we've all memories from Katrina so that helps. Props to BR on being example of how to let a protest happen without losing our shite.

Baton Rouge is doing an outstanding job with this. You give these people an inch and they never look back. They arrested tons and put a stop to this nonsense.
