Why are the blacks the only race ever protesting????? Is it a "we hate white people" protest?

I work a block away from Northwestern's campus. Many of them marched from around the business area here in Evanston and out towards where this is taking place. They had a big linked circle and didn't allow photographers into their safe space.
Many of these protesters do NOT attend Northwestern, but were the same protesters down the road at Loyola earlier this morning, just joining a few Northwestern students.
The crazy thing to me is, these students are getting minority scholarships that white students do not receive, plus have a better chance of getting their applications for admission approved. Northwestern is very liberal and very progressive. This line of thinking here is just leaving me shaking my head today.

Since Ferguson, I have suggested that people who were either not racist or at worst were indifferent before all of this insanity......would get weary of this feigned BS and begin to change their views. Not that it was some great revelation but it was an accurate prediction.

Don't absolve white people from this. Radicalism on racial issues is just as much fueled by white "intellectuals" as minority ones.

You folks are missing the point. It doesn't matter what they have now as the fact s that people are bending over backwards to give them more for simply marching around and yelling. If you told me right now that I would get promoted tomorrow for marching today, damn right I would go do it. As would everyone.

The VPs for Student Affairs and Diversity and Inclusion sent out an e-mail last night to everyone at the university for some "dialogue" or some other such nonsense at 7:30 tonight.
President Schapiro then sent out an e-mail overnight with the whole "diversity, inclusion, perspectives, but still respect speech" spiel again trying to head off this stuff.
I'll give Schaprio credit: he wrote an article in WSJ not that long ago about the importance of free speech on campus.
I almost want to go to this event tonight to see what it's all about and see if anything happens.
