Webinars bro. Free ones everywhere. And they don’t have to issue a formal certificate. Under the regs, if it is relevant to your job you can count it as PDH. Just keep a record of training and a copy of the materials in case you get audited.

this. I am a material supplier, but i deal with engineers every day. I get anywhere from 5-10 email invitations for PDH webinars every week. Friendly engineers that have asked me...get those emails forwarded to them.

Check the website of whatever society is appropriate for your discipline. All the committee meetings and conferences are going virtual this fall. All the PDH, none of the travel, hotel costs, or awkward illicit conference sex.

Also, the LAPELS Professionalism and Ethics quiz on their website will count as 1 hour of ethics for your renewal
not sure why anyone down voted this. I have an email straight from LAPELS stating that they would accept the quiz as ethics credit

Yeah, I literally take that quiz every year on Jan. 1. It's required and it's free. There's some ironic pleasure in taking an ethics quiz hung over.

being that i know some people on the board, if you get audited and both of your ethics are the quiz, im willing to bet they wont accept it for both. They might accept it this year but i doubt it is an every year thing.

They actually e-mail you a certificate. Downside is that it's 50 questions. That quiz made me reconsider why I didn't become a neurosurgeon, but then again I'm in it for the challenge.

Ethics are 1 credit a year now that they went to the 15 credits a year rule. Ethics quiz can count each year.

No certificates are required. I have been audited 3 times in the 16 years I have had my license. Each time I had handwritten details of at least 2 pdh courses that they accepted.

Agree. I've also been audited and certificates are not required. Just be prepared to prove your attendance and the content.

A lot of our Vendors offer FREE zoom/virtual classes that will each have a few PDH hours, maybe a small quiz at the end.

Every year when I have to do this I’m just reminded as to how much of a bullshite money grab PDH is.

PDHEngineer.com

They have a money-back guarantee if their course isn’t accepted by your state board. They have a near-unlimited library of classes and they are usually just in PDF form with a test you can print out.

I did 7 PDHs last week and it realistically took me about 2.5 hours. I’ll get all my needed hours very quickly. Highly recommended.
