Haha, well it's really easy to take good pictures on Westminster Bridge and the surrounding area, especially at dusk. I probably easily have a hundred shots from the couple hundred yard stretch where this went down.
Which just goes to show how packed out this area always is.

If this was in the states I wouldn't jump to conclusions so easily but being in Britain the smart money is on Arabic terrorist. The IRA isn't that active anymore.

As for IRA, I think there was an explosion in N. Ireland this morning, I never heard more about it after initial news broke.
But I would be stunned if this was republican violence. The fact that the UK puts the threat of Islamic terror at the same threat level as IRA violence is laughable.

Mass stabbing and running pedestrians down in a vehicle wasn't the IRA's M.O., either.
I wouldn't be surprised if it were just some one-off lunatic or a hardcore nationalist type, but the odds are a lot higher in Britain than in the States that it is Islamic. At least they appeared to be a lot better prepared to handle it than their brethren on the Continent.
Also, not to be pedantic, odds are a lot higher that, if it is Islamic, the person is Pakistani or Indian Muslim than Arab.
