I probably shouldn't have posted what I did, but the ability to swim is an essential part of life. I've got 6 nieces and nephews and all of them had been in a pool or kiddie pool before they turned 1. Obviously they weren't swimming, but they were getting accustomed to being in water.

Crawfish Aquatics in BR, a few old HS friends of mine work there as swim instructors and truly love their jobs. Cant go wrong

This is our first year enrolling our two boys (ages 2 and 3) in swim lessons and we used Carla Duplechin with Fishy's Aquatics in Gonzales and have been very pleased. Fishysaquatics.com
