Private Schools near Denham Springs

The wife and I are considering putting our youngest in private school after she completes elementary. Her current school is phenomenal, but I'm not a fan of Denham Junior or Denham High.
We're considering Central Private or Episcopal. Does anyone have good experience with those or other private schools that are relatively convenient to Denham?
TLDR; any good private schools within a short drive to Denham?

Public schools are good enough.

Episcopal is one of the top private schools in the area. It's also the most expensive. Central Private was a good school when I went there in the 80s and early 90s. I can't comment on what it's like now. I doubt it's on par with Episcopal

Episcopal is the best by a large margin

Why would someone in LP send their kids to private schools? Isn’t the ability to send their kids to good public schools literally the only reason people live in Denham in the first place?

If the school system were closer to reality, that could be an option.

You hear that a lot, but there are too many kids with deadbeat parents in the public school system. It makes a big difference in the classroom experience.
Anyway, I've always lived in Denham, so it's not like I moved here for the schools.

Just move to Mandeville and send to St. Paul's like everyone else in the state.

But why...?
Seriously, what possible draw is there to living on Denham other than public schools? It’s not like it’s close to jobs, has fast-moving traffic, or offers close access to recreational activities. It’s certainly not the nightlife or the architectural charm. It’s literally a White flight commuter suburb that exists for middle class families to not have to pay for private schools.

Can you tell me more about how this creates a problem with the classroom experience?

My ex girlfriend went to CP. She says it’s stuck in the 80’s and extremely underfunded. It is cheap if that’s what you’re looking for.
Episcopal models their school after Isidore Newman school and is very expensive.
I went to Denham and really wish that my parents would have sent me to private school. All of my younger siblings went or currently go to private school in New Orleans and are coming out 10x’s more prepared for college than I ever was.

That would be a change from the 90s.
I knew families which sent the oldest to Episcopal because he had already started HS there then sent the rest of the kids through Dunham because it was cheaper. This was after a pretty hefty EHS tuition hike IIRC.
