Be careful with your hubris. The Catholic church isnt immune from the queer mafias attack, and it being allowed.

The published and public Catechism of the Roman Catholic Faith is comprehensively researched and footnoted. Every question raised in our society today about gender, sex, transgender, homosex - are all answered in the Catechism.

The Radical Left is definitely on the attack within Christianity, with the full support of the Western Governments.

We don't have the full text of this sermon. The "news" article is essentially a blurb designed to generate a bad view of the Roman Catholic Faith. But, neither the Bishop nor the Priest can say or write anything that changes the Catechism.

Jesus IS God. God robed in flesh.
Father, son, and holy spirit are 3 manifestations of the one true God.

I am a father, a brother, and a son. The same person but 3 different roles.

I know that that can never be alliance or reconciliation between the Roman Catholic Faith and the Protestant faiths. This is true because I know my history. Protestantism can never, ever stop attacking Catholicism and never step back from its aim to destroy it. Why? Because that is how Protestantism was born - it was born of a strong desire to rebel against, to attack and to destroy the Church that Christ founded.

We know this to be true when we take the time to view the ruins of the Roman Catholic monasteries and churchs that still remain in Britain and in other Western countries. These institutions were raided and looted by the Reformers. Literal attack and destruction - not just the verbal attack that we see all the time around here.

So, how can somebody conclude, based upon evidence and reasoned thought, that there can be an alliance and reconciliation between the Roman Catholic Faith and all of the hundreds of Protestant sects that seek to attack and destroy it? I can hope and pray, of course, but, solid evidence and logic tell me that my hopes and prayers might not work.

well in all fairness if god was real he would be an entity outside of humanity and would not be a man or a woman so by default would not be binary, and since that would be true referring to it as him or her would both be wrong.

and if old testament god was real he would probably smite the shite of the priest for what hes teaching.

I always find it weird the left announces they hate religion but dont really. Biden is a catholic, lots of gay people in these modern churches and their weird support of muslims.

Not true, i see it every day now. A street littered with American flags and the one house that would never waive that flag has their pride flag and trust or librarian signs.

On their own property, too. I didn’t realize how rough it had gotten.

The Roman Catholic Church won't be destroyed until Jesus throws the Whore of Babylon into the abyss.

You are what I'm talking about, dude. Hislop wrote that book in 1858. It's been thoroughly refuted by good scholarship ever since. That didn't stop the follow up book Babylon Mystery Religion from selling well. The author of THAT book has since retracted his own book because he admits that it's based on lies.

Babylon Mystery Religion

The reason why there can be no alliance, no reconciliation between the hundreds of Protestant faiths and Roman Catholicism is mainly because so many continue to believe in and preach Hislop's ideas about the Babylon Mystery Religion.

The Bible is very clear on what Jesus said about the Church that he founded - that the gates of Hades would never prevail against it. He told Peter that the Church would be built on this Rock (Kephas=Peter) and that the Gates of Hell would never prevail against it.

So, please stop preaching your Un-Biblical views on when the Catholic Church will be destroyed. Thank you.

The Westminster Confession plainly states that The Pope is the Anti-Christ.

The Scofield Study Bible plainly states that the Roman Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon mentioned in the Book of Revelation. And so I ask my fellow Catholics, how can any alliance or reconciliation be achieved when our enemies stand on such a platform? It seems impossible to me.

I was just goading you. The Harlot symbolizes apostate Christianity, which is not limited to the Catholic Church.

Thanks for the clarification, but, there are many many Protestants who preach, teach and believe exactly what Hislop wrote.

Wiki has a decent article about the Whore of Babylon in the Book of Revelation. From the earliest days and commentators of Christianity, they seemed to agree that the Whore of Babylon was the Roman Empire. That makes sense because the Roman Empire was putting Christians to death for centuries.

I suppose that the whore of Babylon could be apostate Christianity, but, back when the Roman Empire was still around, most commentators believed that the reference was to Rome's Empire and government.
