Oh man! That's terrible. At least he passed away doing something that he loved in a beautiful area. Sorry for your loss.

Visited my parents. Dad and I went golfing. Accidentally blocked my mom in and she had to leave.

She pulled an Austin Powers and got out, but boy was she not thrilled with me

Sun coming up in Oklahoma. Picture doesn't come close to how bold the colors were.

Dude

The story makes my knees weak It’s absolutely hilarious.

Here’s one for you to figure out. She freakin ended up driving straight out of the driveway, forward

Started like this And she couldn’t get off the driveway at all because of perfectly placed sprinklers that she didn’t want to run over and break.

Here's another of a robber fly, maybe a stiletto fly....pretty similar. I think it is kind of cool with the water drops on the leaf.

And a jumping spider. This thing was tiny.

I like taking photos of small insects and such because it forces you to slow down and actually look at what is around you. You'd be amazed, once you've slowed down, how your eyes can pick up the slightest of movements. Once you see it, then there's the challenge of getting a decent pic of it.

We also have no idea/comprehension how many eyes are on us once we walk out of our doors.

Do you use seek to identify/track the bugs you photo?

I use iNaturalist. It is pretty good for everything from bugs and birds to shrooms and trees.
