I was nervous about it, because I was afraid she would be jealous, but she’s happier than she’s ever been.
I keep him in a crate when I’m not at the house, and she knows she’s the boss because she gets to run free. They love to play tug-of-war

She was 10 and died 3 years ago. I’ve only had two dogs, this one and another one that lasted 17 yrs. Not sure if I can handle another. Those two were the best ever.

Oakley. Sire was a Field Trial Grand National Champion. Still a puppy. 16 months old. 95 pounds. I've raised and trained retrievers throughout my life, but this is the most intelligent dog I've ever had.
