A wealthy family with homes around the world is looking for an experienced nanny in London. Perks include international travel, meals from a Michelin star chef and pay of £100,000 ($128,680) a year.

"We are looking for a highly qualified nanny who has a degree in child psychology, no children of their own and a minimum of 15 years of nannying experience," the mother of the family wrote in an ad

The ideal candidate should be trained in self-defense, but the parents will pay for the successful candidate to receive training if they aren't martial arts experts already.

That training is non-negotiable.

The parents, who have homes in London, Barbados, Cape Town and Atlanta, have four children between 2 and 15. They want a live-in nanny who may be required to travel internationally up to three times a week.

However, the job requirements are tough. The successful nanny will need to work 6 days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. They'll also have to participate in lessons and classwork with the children, who are home-schooled.

The prospective supernanny will also be expected to run errands and drop the children off at appointments, but can use the family's fleet of cars, which include a Porsche, Range Rover and Maserati.

Pay should be at least double for all this stress. They are trying to sell someone on the pleasure of experiencing a luxurious environment.

Reader comments inside the article are hilarious.

I know a girl that would house sit for a couple in California in college when they traveled to Europe for months at a time. They paid for everything for her while away plus a few thousand dollars per month.

She had to go to a professional racing school because she was required to take the Ferrari out for a drive at least once per week.

Or they could just hire an actual bodyguard instead of making a nanny learn karate which is a retarded idea anyway.

Travelled with an Australian girl that ended up staying in London and being a nanny for some kids in the Ritz Carlton family. They had more nannies than kids, and spent most of the summer in Monoco and sailing the Mediterranean. Sweet job if you can get it.

15 years experience with no husband or children? I am not sure I would want someone like that watching my kids.

It's probably because the kids are a bunch of spoiled brats and a Mary Poppins type person would be eaten alive by the entitled little shits. Having the nanny be able to defend herself at least gives her a fighting chance.

Yeah it seems like they'd want someone who had actually raised kids. You know, experience and shite.

I figure the self defense training is for the trips to Cape Town. Just get a real bodyguard.

Must be nice to have so much money you don't even need to raise your own kids.

1. Experience and shite: and a minimum of 15 years of nannying experience

2. Seems obvious that they don't want anyone with kids that may have to periodically leave on a moment's notice for family reasons(even if the kids are older)
