Possible Bigfoot evidence

I was looking for a deer this weekend, when I noticed some black hair snagged up in a tree, I got it. There's nothing in the woods at my camp that could have hair like that, it was kind of long. I'll post pics when I get home. What should I do with it? I'm so excited

It's not really hair. I know what your seeing. Had some in a tree I climbed sat morning. Better question is what is it? I think it's small hairy looking vines that branch from the main.

Let's just assume you currently possess the hair of Bigfoot. And let's also assume that said hair will make it into the hands of the world's premier Bigfoot researcher for examination.
How exactly would he/she confirm that the hair in your possession is that of Bigfoot? In order to prove that, wouldn't we have to have some proven standard to compare it to? And wouldn't that imply that there already exists proof of Bigfoot?
I believe, at best, analysts would be able to say that the hair does not conform to any know animal's fur/hair.
Seems like a long shot to me.
