That seems to be the most obvious place to store it but will heat degrade its performance? I got one for Christmas.

If it’s not in your vehicle what’s the point of owning it?

Doesn't do you much good if it's not in your vehicle and you need it!

FYI: I keep a jump starter and 1/2 impact driver with lug socket in my truck at all times.

Put it in the trunk. Charge it at least every 60 days (I charge it every month) and after every use.

You'll find yourself helping people more than you use it yourself.

I've heard they can hold their charge for a long while when stored in the trunk. I have a JF EGWO but I've only used to to inflate the tires so far.

I just keep a set of jumper cables. If my battery goes dead, there’s always someone around for a jump.

This isn't necessarily true. I have one for my old cars that I keep in the place where the cars are stored. I load it in the car when I'm driving one of the cars.

Edit: Don't get an Autozone brand charger. They are shite. The brand name for theirs is Duralast.

No comment on where to store but these mini jump starters are amazing! My truck was dead so my neighbor let me use his. It’s about the size of a vcr tape. Son of a bitch jumped off my 6.8L v10 like it was nothing. I went on Amazon that instant to buy one.

NOCO Boost GB40 for typical vehicles. If you want to be able to jump anything get the big boy GB150 Boost Pro.

Amazing what an upgrade they are over jumper cables. I gave my kids one each for their cars.

And the comment about helping others is 100% correct. So much easier than aligning battery sides and stringing cables across to jump. I’ve jumped diesel trucks, tractors, utv’s with mine.

I'm pretty sure it says right on the box that Auburn fans should store them in the refrigerator.

Yep. I jumped off around 10 people before I ever used it for myself.

Until that day in the rain where there isn't one guy willing to help. In today's society people aren't so willing to help.

Rely on yourself and be ready to help others.

I bought a combo portable jump starter/air compressor off Amazon a couple of years ago for around $100. Hasn’t failed me yet in 10+ uses for myself and helping others.

I keep one and a small, portable compressor in my vehicle.
