PORT VINCENT, LA (WAFB) - An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death for a man who died after being stunned by a Louisiana State Trooper, officials say.

According to the Louisiana State Police, the incident started Sunday at roughly 6 p.m. on LA 16 in Port Vincent. Officials say the trooper came upon a crash when he observed a man with a sword in the drivers side of the vehicle.

The man allegedly took off running when the trooper attempted to talk to him. The trooper followed him an allegedly confronted the trooper with the sword in hand. That's when the trooper is said to have used his stun gun on the man.

After being stunned, the man reportedly stopped breathing. He was transported to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.

If I were going to be in a fight for my life and the two weapons were a sword or a taser.

I am picking the sword.

death for a man

Must ascertain a complete description of the "man" in order to affect appropriate rage about the incident.

The content of the story aside, the level of writing you see in these news channel articles is appalling.

I wonder if the sword was energized by the taser.

In my version of reality it certainly was.
