Anyone ever use one?

Know anyone who did? Pros and cons? Is it all bullshite?

Basically looking at one that floats in the water like a floating chlorinatior. It has solar panel on top to generate small current. This sloughs off copper ions which sanitize water and kill algae?

I've read BBB pool people talk about it. They of course shite on it. They are the Vegans of the pool world. If you aren't just using bleach, you are doing it wrong.

I looked into getting this when I was building a pool.

When I found out it doesn't kill fecal bacteria, I completely ruled it out.
