Cops detain a drunk 14 year old and the crowd gets out of hand. Would they rather the cop shoot them or use pepper spray. When given an order to back away from law enforcement, COMPLY!

After a while it just makes you cough

If you can force yourself to keep breathing with small hits, You can keep moving.

But the next day feels like you smoked ten cartons of cigarettes.

That video shows people sprinting to the front of the group in order to get sprayed. They want to be martyrs sooooo bad.

Someone didn't read the article... Cops did no wrong here. Drunk kids who cause a ruckus on public transportation are brought to jail. A bunch of people wrongfully thinking that the cops are going to kill him and block them from doing their job, get peppersprayed. I'm sure in your mind the cops were doing this because those people were black, and not because they were interfering with a lawful arrest.

Why are we so insensitive towards blacks?

What did they expect to happen. The cops are trying to detain a drunk kid on a bus causing a disturbance and people begin to crowd and encroach on the area in which they are trying to work. At any given moment the situation could have taken a turn and violence break out. I am sure the cops warned them to get back before the pepper spray. He took the necessary steps to make sure the crowd got back and the situation didn't escalate any further.

To be fair, it was probably included on the Conference itinerary

No but that's why the kids reacted that way and made the wrong assumptions

Lets hear them

A little bit of empathy and understanding would make this country better. I understand that we dont like getting singled out or told that we are privileged, but why arent we just recognize that some people have different circumstances than others?

I'm not handicapped, but I know I have alot of priliveges they will never ever have. whats inherently wrong with being cognizant of that

I agree with this.

You are comparing apples and oranges here. Handicapped would imply they have a deficiency of some sort. AA have no such deficiency, except what appears to be common sense IN SOME SCENARIOS. Note the last part of that sentence, and don't quote me out of context. You can find plenty of AA in droves in cities such as Denver that have loads of self=respect, intelligence, and respect for authority.

Its the ones who believe they are still owed something and run to "rescue" a drunk boy who is deservedly being detained that I have a problem with.
